Customs seized the magazines, arrested them, and raided their home. They charged her with prostitution, and Graham with being a pimp, even though they jointly owned their own business together, and the so called acts of prostitution involved acting in movies. The Obscene Publications department then raided their home again a month later, taking anything left by the Customs Agents.
Things got ugly from there. They made it clear to Graham that if he did not plead guilty, they were going to prosecute his wife and put her in prison. To keep her out of prison on bogus charges, he had to plead guilty to bogus charges himself.
Being in prison was no picnic. He was incarcerated with hardened criminals. Once fellow inmates found out that he was imprisoned for making adult videos with his wife, they treated him a little bit better, although he got quite a bit of kidding. Better to be the subject of good natured kidding from inmates, though, than the other types of attention you can get. Even the guards thought that it was ridiculous that they put him in jail “I’m not the type of person who likes being told what to do.” Sabrina says. “We thought, what they’re basically saying is that if we live in England, we can’t do what we want to do. So we thought, we’ll we leave. We have friends in Belgium. Graham got out of prison in September, and we moved in October.”
Sabrina is happy living in Belgium. “I would never ever go back to live in Britain again. They just go backwards. They don’t make any progress… Every culture has their own laws, but it just seems like England has this crazy notion that if they actually allowed their citizens to have their own thoughts on certain issues that there’s going to be rioting in the streets. Sex is alright for politicians, but not for the citizens.”
When they were living there as a married couple, even anal sex between a married a couple was illegal. Not such a good deal for someone known for screaming hot anal scenes.
