MUDDLED WORLD ORCHESTRA FRAGMENT II WALKTHROUGH
By Aizenmyoo
Version 1.0
GETTING/INSTALLING THE GAME
You can get this game, as well as the first one, from the author's blog:
http://ashiromurakumo.blog103.fc2.com/
The first post you see should have two links, one to Fragment I (the first game) and another to Fragment II (this one). You'll need to download the game file itself (牙持つ賢者と家出王女.zip )
and the audio file (Audio.zip). The audio file is the same for all chapters, so you only need to download it once. The files are password-protected, but the pass is right there next to the links.
Once you download the files, extract the game to the desired folder and then extract the audio file to the same folder.
The games are made with RPG Maker VX, so you'll need to get the RTP from the following link:
http://www.famitsu.com/freegame/rtp/vx_rtp.html
Also, if you intend on using AGTH to play the game, you'll need to add the /x3 parameter to the command line in order to be able to get the text from the game.
If you get an audio error during the intro, you'll probably need to change your system locale to japanese.
CONTROLS:
Shift - Run button
Esc, Num 0, X - Cancel button, open menu
Space, Enter, Z - Confirm button
X - Fast forward dialogue
DIFFICULTY:
When you begin the game, you are presented with three choices. This is the difficulty selection. The top one is Easy, the middle one is Normal and the bottom one is Hard. Bear in mind that there is a New Game+ feature when you win the game, and you can choose the difficulty whenever you use it.
BACKGROUND:
The princess Clarinetta (クラリネッタ) has been the target of a curse which made her royal birthmark disappear.
Therefore, she ran away from home to find Bassoon, hoping he can remove the curse.
You play as the alchemist Bassoon (ファゴット) as he tries to cure Clarinetta's curse.
OTHER INFO:
- Since Bassoon is an Alchemist, when he uses an HP or MP recovery item, it recovers twice as much as the item description says (for instance, if you use a small potion, that restores 300Hp, you'll recover 600HP instead). When you're using an item with Clarinetta it restores the correct amount of HP/MP.
- At the item shop you can buy Teleport Scrolls(帰還の術式スクロール) for 1000G. Use them while in a dungeon to return to the village.
- At the item shop you can also buy the Terrible Poison(すごい毒薬) for 200G. Using this item in battle causes you to be defeated. Useful for triggering Rescue Events or for losing against sexual monsters with Clarinetta.
- If you get defeated by enemies you'll be returned to the city, but all of your Alchemy ingredients will be gone, as well as half of your money.
ALCHEMY
To cure Clarinetta's curse, you'll need to go to three dungeons to defeat monsters and gather Alchemy ingredients from them, which you can then combine in your laboratory.
There are two types of ingredients you'll need:
-Elemental Orb ingredients: Fire(red), Water(blue), Wood(green), Earth(orange) and Metal(yellow)
-Magic Circle ingredients: Light(white) and Dark(purple).
Magic Circle ingredients can be gotten from pretty much every monster you defeat, but Elemental Jewel ingredients can only be gotten from certain dungeons:
-Water and Wood ingredients can only be gotten in the forest dungeon;
-Fire and Earth ingredients can only be gotten in the cave dungeon;
-Metal ingredients can only be gotten from the ruins dungeon.
Furthermore, Elemental Jewel ingredients come in three degrees of purity, Low, Medium and High, depending on the area of the dungeon you're in. As you progress into the dungeons you'll find stronger enemies that drop higher quality ingredients.
Now, once you've gathered at least two Elemental Jewel ingredients and one Magic Circle ingredient, you can perform experiments on your lab. These can only be performed in the afternoon or at night, and only once per day (unless you're on a New Game+).
To perform an experiment enter your lab (it's the small building just outside your house) and choose the top option when asked. You'll then be asked if you want to use Low, Medium or High purity ingredients.
After you select the degree of purity you want to use, you must interact with the two orbs and the small magic circle to set the ingredients you want to use. It doesn't matter which of the orbs has which element. For example, if you put Fire on the left orb and Water on the right orb, that's the same as putting Water on the left orb and Fire on the right one.
When you're done setting the ingredients, talk to Clarinetta and choose the top option to perform the experiment. If you decide you don't want to do an experiment at this time, just leave the lab.
At first you can only perform experiments with Low purity ingredients, but after you do at least six experiments with them, you'll be able to perform experiments with Medium purity ingredients.
To perform experiments with High purity ingredients you'll need to perform at least six experiments with Medium purity ingredients AND you'll need three special items which are dropped by the bosses at the end of each dungeon. These bosses only appear after you've done at least five experiments with Medium purity ingredients.
All experiments that result in sex normally give you two choices. The top one is not having sex and the bottom one is having sex. Depending on Clarinetta's current Affection level this can result in her Affection rising or lowering (see Clarinetta's Personal Stats section for more information). However, if Bassoon doesn't have sex for three days in a row, you won't get the option of not having sex. You can prevent this by having sex with Xylophone, the town's prostitute, for 2000G.

CLARINETTA'S PERSONAL STATS
Aside from her battle stats, Clarinetta has two hidden personal stats, Affection and Lust. Affection can be Low, Neutral or High, and starts out Neutral. Lust can be Low or High, and starts out Low.
The best way to determine Clarinetta's affection is to talk to her in her room after dinner. If she is at the back of her room and when you talk to her, she has a sad face, and doesn't say anything, her Affection is Low. If she is standing next to her bed and her face is normal when you talk to her, her Affection is Neutral. If she is standing next to her bed and she smiles when you talk to her, her Affection is High.
WARNING - If Clarinetta's affections becomes too low, it will lead to a Game Over when you sleep. This does not count as an ending, and you can't go to New Game+ from it. Be very careful.
Lust increases whenever you have sex with Clarinetta. If you raise it high enough, she'll always physically enjoy sex, even if she's being raped. You can tell when her Lust is High because during sex scenes a lot of heart symbols show up in her dialog.
There are several ways to affect Clarinetta's Affection:
- If Basson gets horny during one of the experiments AND Clarinetta's affection is Neutral or Low, her Affection will lower if you have sex with her, or increase if you don't.
- If Basson gets horny during one of the experiments AND Clarinetta's affection is High, her Affection will increase if you have sex with her, or lower if you don't.
- If Clarinetta gets horny during one of the experiments AND Clarinetta's affection is Neutral or Low, her Affection will lower if you have sex with her, or increase if you don't.
- If Clarinetta gets horny during one of the experiments AND Clarinetta's affection is High, her Affection will increase if you have sex with her, or lower if you don't.
- If you summon some monsters during an experiment and Clarinetta loses to them, her Affection will lower.
- At the beggining of each day, if Clarinetta's Affection is Neutral or High, she might mention a specific food while you're eating brekfast. If you have that food with you when you have dinner (check the kitchen table in the afternoon), her Affection will increase.
- There are three special items that enemies rarely drop: the Pure White Flower (純白の花), dropped by enemies in the forest; the Amber (琥珀), dropped by enemies in the mountain, and the Music Box (オルゴール), dropped by enemies in the ruins. If Clarinetta is home during the morning and you talk to her, you'll give her one of these items, which raises her affection. You can give her as many items as you want per day, ust keep talking to her.
- If her Affection is low, Clarinetta will not leave her room. If you have one of her favorite foods (see Cooking section) and talk to her, you can give it to her and that will raise her affection a bit. You can only do this once a day.
XYLOPHONE'S SHOP
Xylophone is the village's resident prostitute/doctor. She's the woman that Basson goes talk to in the first day. When you talk to her you'll get three options:
- Have sex with her - this costs 2000G, and apart from the H-scene, this has an added benefit. Normally, when you perform an experiment that leads to sex, you can choose whether or not to have sex, however, if Basson doesn't have sex for three days or more, he gets too horny to resist, which can lead to Clarinetta disliking him. Having sex with Xylophone prevents that from happening.
- Buy "special" medicines - When you select this, she'll ask you if you want a detailed explanation of the effects of the medicines. After the explanation or if you select “no”, you'll enter the shop screen.
The majority of the medicines can be used when you have sex with Clarinetta. However, with the exception of the Sage's Medicine, you can't use them when the experiment changes her clothes.
I'm not sure on the effects of all of them, but this is what I've managed to figure out:
- Aphrodisiac(媚薬) - 500G - I'm not sure what this one does, but I believe it raises Clarinetta's Lust slightly.
- Emotion Stabilizer (感情安定剤) - 1000G - Prevents lowering Clarinetta's Affection if you have sex with her against her will.
- Emotion Nullifier (感情抑制剤) - 1000G - Another I'm not too sure on. Makes Clarinetta have no emotions during the sex scene. Prevents lowering Clarinetta's Affection if you have sex with her against her will, but maybe it lower her affection if it's too high, I'm not sure.
- Sleeping Pill (睡眠薬) - 3000G - Makes Clarinetta be asleep during the sex scene. Clarinetta's Affection is neither raised nor lowered.
- Love Potion (ラブポーション) - 3000G - Raises Clarinetta's Affection. Only works if the experiment caused Clarinetta to get horny. I don't know if it works when her Affection is Low.
- Love Lotion (ラブローション) - 5000G - Makes Clarinetta very sensitive during the sex scene. Increases her Lust considerably. Has no effect on Affection.
- Sage's Medicine (賢者の薬) - 1000G - After you have sex with Clarinetta, if you have some you are given the choice of using it or not. Lowers Clarinetta's Lust.
- Suspicious Perfume (怪しい香水) - 10000G - This is an acessory for Clarinetta only. Attack, Defense and Spirirt + 15. May have other effects.
- Suspicious Perfume Special Blend (怪しい香水スペシャルブレンド) - 30000G - This is an acessory for Clarinetta only. Attack +20, Defense + 40, Spirit + 20. May have other effects.
- Obscene Perfume (淫靡な香水) - 15000G - This is an acessory for Clarinetta only. Attack +40, Defense -10, Spirit +20. May have other effects.

- Grapefruit Jelly (グレープフルーツゼリー) - cures some status effects?. Can only be used inside battles. Clarinetta's favorite.
- "Ramen"(ラーメン○郎) - Steals 100 HP from enemy. Can only be used inside battles. This is a special food item that requires three rare ingredients: "Vegetables" (ヤサイ), "Garlic" (にんにく) and "Soy Sauce" (カ○シ醤油), which can be gotten from defeating enemies in the woods, caves and ruins, respectively. If you have it when eating dinner, you'll get an H-image.
- Clarinetta's Homemade Lunchbox (クラリネッタのお弁当) - Restores all HP/MP and cures status effects. Can be used inside and outside battles. This food item can't be made in the oven. If Clarinetta's Affection is High, she will sometimes gives you one while you're eating breakfast in the morning.
The values I've given for HP and MP recovery are based on when they are used by Bassoon. I can't be certain they're the same when used by Clarinetta.
RESCUE EVENTS
If Clarinetta's Affection is High and Basson gets defeated in a dungeon, she will go to the dungeon to try to rescue him.
In this event you have to find Bassoon, represented by a sparkly dot. If you find him, you return home without the usual defeat penalty (without losing money or alchemy ingredients).
The monsters in the dungeons are replaced with sexual monsters: Tentacle Fungus in the forest, Hory Lizards in the caves and Torture Golems in the ruins. If you lose a battle against these monsters, Clarinetta gets raped, and she becomes covered in cum, which lowers her walking speed. If she gets raped three times, she gives up and you suffer the usual defeat penalty.
While battling sexual monsters, they will either attempt to remove Clarinet's clothes or use sexual attacks against her. Sexual attacks raise an Orgasm bar in the upper left corner of the screen. If the bar fills up completely, Clarinetta is unable to fight for a few turns. If the monsters manage to remove all her clothes, there is a possibility that they will use an attack that ends the battle immediatly.
At the beggining of the event, the guard at the village's exit gives Clarinetta three Clothing Repair Kits and three Cooldown Waters. The Clothing repair Kit restores one item of clothing, but only if Clarinetta isn't covered in cum, and the Cooldown Water lowers the Orgasm Bar. These items can only be used outtside of battle.
If you successfully complete Rescue Events in all three dungeons, you'll unlock an extra area in the post-ending room, as well as the CG's of the monster rapes.
DUNGEONS
There are three main dungeons in the game, and two special ones, which are only reached through special means. In the main dungeons, the boss only shows up after you've done five experiments with Medium purity ingredients. You'll know if the bosses have shown up if there is a green-haired man lying near the entrance of the ruins dungeon.
1. Forest of the Godess (女神の森)
In the forest you'll find three types of enemies: Beasts, Insects and Tentacles. The enemies here sometimes drop Lucky Clovers (ラッキークローバー), which you can sell for 500G each. They have no other use, so feel free to sell them.
This dungeon's first area is pretty straightforward, and has low strength enemies. You'll eventually come across some wasps standing on a bridge near the top left of the map. They're stronger than the normal wasps, so be careful. Also, if you go left from these wasps, there is a small room with a pond and a crystal. This room is important for a quest, but nothing else.
The second area is the tricky bit in this dungeon, and has medium streength enemies. It's a small room with eight exits, each of them marked with a different thing, and when you go through one of them, you're simply returned to the same room. To return to the first area, simply go through the exit with the Dry Tree, but in order to go to the next area you have to go through the exits in a specific order, which is taught to you by a little girl in town.
The proper order is:
Mushroom, Lone Tree, Sandy Soil, Water, Flowers
The third area is also pretty straightforward, but it has strong enemies. There is a tentacle enemy guarding a bridge to a small island with three chests, but that is optional. There is also a sparkling flower bush that if you examine, gives you a magic book that when equipped allows you to use "Ouroboros", a somewhat powerful attack magic. Go to the upper right of the map and you should enter a room with a statue and some sparkly things flying around. The boss should be standing next to the statue, if it's not there, then you haven't performed enough experiments yet.
The boss of the dungeon is Harp, an angel. She is weak against Darkness elemental magic.
The biggest problem in this fight is after you deal enough damage, she summons six butterflies. These butterflies don't attack you, but they heal Harp for a considerable amount of HP. Your best bet is to use the silence magic (口封じの魔術), if you have it. The butterflies are very weak against silence and should be unable to use magic for 3-4 turns. Pay attention to see when you need to renew the spell. Other than that, pack a lot of healing potions or have some healing magic, because the fight is long and Harp can hit pretty hard.
When you defeat Harp you get the Angel's Feather (天使の羽毛), which is the Light alchemy ingredient necessary for doing experiments with High purity ingredients. It doesn't get used up, so you don't have to worry about that.
You'll also get the Angel Gloves (エンゼルグローブ), the best gloves in the game.
2. Dragon's Nest Mountain (龍の住まう山)
In the Mountain you'll find three types of enemies: Slimes, Lizards and Demi-Humans. The enemies here sometimes drop Crystal Ore (水晶の原石), which you can sell for 500G each. They have no other use, so feel free to sell them.インゴット
You'll start this dungeon just outside the cave, so go inside to the first area. This area has a few forks in the road, but it's not to bad. It also has low strength enemies. Head towards the bottom left of the map and you should see some big stairs. Go up them and you'll come across three Fire Lizards blocking your way. They're weak to Water elemental magic. After that proceed up to the next area.
The next area is somewhat small, and has the same kind of slimes you found in the first area. Go up and you should see some stairs going up into a cave and a hole with some stairs leading down. Inside the cave is a chest with a shield, but it's guarded by some medium strength Demi-Humans, so watch out for that. To proceed to the next area go down the hole with the stairs.
The third area has medium strength enemies. Go down until you reach a fork. To the right are some chests and to the left is a big staircase. Go up and you should reach a hole in the wall blocked by an Orc Mage. Beat him and go through the hole to proceed to the next area.
The fourth area is very small. It has a high strength Demi-Human near the beggining, but that's it, just go right and up until you enter the caves again.
The next area is also pretty straightforward, but it has high strength enemies. Go down and right, there are some stairs halfway that lead to a treasure chest outside, but otherwise just continue right until you can't go any further and then go up. You should see another hole in the wall, through that is the boss. If Bassoon just looks around and goes back, then you haven't performed enough experiments yet.
The boss of this area is an Armored Dragon. There's not too much to say about this fight. He's weak to water and when you deal enough damage he gets stronger. He does hit hard, so pack some healing potions or some healing magic.
When you defeat the Dragon you get the Dragon's Scale (龍のウロコ). This item is essential to performing experiments with High purity ingredients. Even if you have the items from the other two bosses you can't do anything until you have this. Again, it doesn't get used up, so don't worry.
You'll also get the Dragon Suit (ドラゴンスーツ), an armor that increases your fire and lightning resistance by 50%
OPTIONAL BOSS
After you've defeated the Dragon, you can go back to where he was and there will be a hole there. Go down it ad you'll be in an area with high strength slimes (weak to water) and fire pillars that go on and off periodicaly. Follow the path to the end and you'll find the optional boss, Ifrit.
Ifrit is very hard for one reason mainly, and that is the fact that he has a fire attack that deals loads of damage and he always uses it at the start of the fight. The first time I fought him I was around level 30 and he killed me with it on the first turn.
You have two options here: one is to level up a lot, the other is to get a Crimson Note from a rare Flame Bull (see the section on rare enemies). The Crimson Note gives you high level fire magic, but it also gives you a Fire Wall spell, that cuts fire damage in half. That and a lot of healing should allow you to beat him.
Once you beat Ifrit a chest appears, inside of which is Fugue (フーガ), the best weapon for Bassoon. You'll also get a password at the end of the game.
3. Ancient Tower Ruins (古き日の物見台)
The Ruins have three types of enemies: Skeletons, Ghosts and Robots. The enemies here sometimes drop Ingots (インゴット), which you can sell for 500G each. They have no other use, so feel free to sell them.
This dungeon is very annoying, because you'll have to go back and forth a lot. Also, you can't do everything in it until you have made the dungeon bosses appear by performing enough experiments. If you have performed enough experiments, a green haired man will be lying just near the dungeon entrance. Talk to him and you'll return to town and have a small talk with him, after which you can do the whole dungeon. However, you can still advance a bit even if you haven't performed enough experiments.
The first area is not too bad, and it has low strength enemies. Go right, then up, then left, past a small path leading down. You should eventually come across a hole in the wall. Go inside and examine the crystal, this makes another crystal that was blocking your way vanish. Go back outside and then go left and up to proceed to the next area. Disregard the boulders blocking a path, we'll get to those.
The second area has medium strength enemies. Go right and you should come across a ghost mini-boss. He's weak agains Light elemental magic, but he keeps summonig little ghosts. After you beat him go back to the first area. Go right and go to that small path I told you to ignore. A hole should have opened in the wall. Go inside and examine the crystal, but be careful, because you'll have to fight some robots when you do. Once you beat them return to the second area.
Back upstairs proceed right, past where the ghost mini-boss was, then down, left and up. Ignore the wall of fire, we'll get back to that as well.
The third area has high strength enemies and the ghost enemies can silence you, so be careful. If you haven't performed enough experiments yet, then this is as far as you go, since your path is blocked by a crystal. However, if you have talked to the green-haired man I mentioned already, then that crystal should be gone. Go up and you shouls enter a small balcony with a sparkly dot on the florr. Examine it to get a Keycard (鉄板でできた鍵). Go back inside and then go left to find a closed door. With your newly obtained keycard you can go through it.
This room has a blue chest that has Explosives (爆薬) inside, and a book on a table. The book offers some background history on the ruins, but is otherwise unimportant. There is also a wall of fire here blocking some chests, but you can't go through it yet.
Now that you have the Explosives, go all the way back to the first floor and blow up those boulders I mentioned, then go down to the next area.
This area has high strength enemies and a mini-boss, go up and you should see it, it looks like a big mechanical eye. This mini-boss has two attacks that are annoying: a laser attack, that deals a lot of damage and blinds you, and a confusion attack, that makes you attack yourself, so be careful. You can get a Silver Ring (銀の指輪) in the acessory shop that prevents mental status effects like confusion, or a Gold Ring (金の指輪), that blocks physical status effects, like blindness.
Once you defeat him you get the Control Key (制御キー). Now go all the way back to the third floor. Don't you hate this dungeon already?
Anyway, go back to the third floor and enter the hole in the wall near the entrance and examine the stone slab in the back and it will make all the walls of fire in the dungeon vanish (except for the ones that were near the mechanical eye mini-boss. Don't bother going back there). Anyway, if you want to, check the places that used to have walls of fire to get some chests, and then go all the way back to the entrance. From the entrance, go straight up and you'll reach the boss room, the boss is in the back, talk to her to start the fight.
The boss here is Sax, a Succubus. She is weak to light. The fight is a bit annoying, since Sax has an attack that can make you confused, and she has a tendency to use it fairly often. You might want to use a Silver Ring if you have one. Also, after you've dealt enough damage, she summons two squirrels. The one on the left attacks you, and the one on the right cures her, and if you kill them, they eventually come back. You can use the Silence magic on them, but they're not as vulnerable to it as Harp's butterflies. Also, she hits hard, so be ready with potions or healing magic.
You have a few ways of going about this boss fight:
-You can try to silence the squirrels and attack Sax while they're silenced (the one on the left will keep attacking you, however);
-You can try to kill the squirrels and then attack Sax when they're gone. Strong magics that attack all enemies come in handy to do this;
-You can ignore the squirrels and try to hit Sax with strong attacks. If you're strong enough, you should be able to deal more damage than the right squirrel recovers.
Once you beat Sax, you get the Dark Tear (闇色の涙). This is the Dark alchemy ingredient necessary for doing experiments with High purity ingredients. Once again, it doesn't get used up, so you don't have to worry about that.
You'll also receive the Sage's Mace (賢者のメイス), the second best weapon for Bassoon.
You can also return to this dungeon to have a sex scene with Sax. You can only do it once, and you get the Evil Skin (condoms). The Evil Skin gives a sex scene with Clarinetta if her affection is High and you talk to her in her room at night.
SPECIAL DUNGEONS
You get to these dungeons by fulfilling certain circumstances in the game. One of them is only for Clarinetta and the other one is gotten after curing Clarinetta's curse with the conditions for Ending 6.
1. Dream Dungeon
You get to this dungeon by raising Clarinetta's lust VERY high (See the section on Ending 3 for more information) and then sleeping. Clarinetta will then show up in the dream dungeon. The dream dungeon is full of the same sexual monsters you'd find in a Rescue Event.
Right next to the start there's a hooded man. If you accept having sex with him, you get Clarinetta's ultimate weapon, Concerto (コンチェルト). This is a strong weapon that attacks twice.
Anyway, just follow the path to the end, it's a very straightforward dungeon. You'll see some chests along the way. These are for when Clarinetta has lost clothes or is covered in cum. If you open one of them, Clarinetta will either clean herself up or regain one item of clothing.
At the end of the path is a magic circle. Step into that and you'll be in the boss room. Go up and you'll fight two Nightmare Orcs. You may have faced some when performing an experiment, but these particular ones can do the sexual attacks from all the other sexual monsters. If you lose the fight there is a sex scene, and if you cure Clarinetta of the curse after that, you get Ending 3.
P.S. If you did get Concerto, it's advisable that you unequip it in the recollectiion room, otherwise it may vanish when you do a New Game+.
2. Other Dimension
You get to this dungeon by curing Clarinetta of the curse in under 30 days AND by doing few different types of alchemy combinations (less than 5 High purity combinations).
The dungeon is a bit annoying, and it's full of very strong enemies. You also have Clarinetta in your party.
At the start of the dungeon, if you go up there is a magic circle that Heals your party completelly. If you go down there is a magic circle that teleports you to the next place.
There are some places with four teleporters. One of them is the one you came from, another one takes you back to the start, another one goes to a place with some treasure and the last one goes forward.
Keep goinf forward and you'll reach a place with four chests. If you go up there is a large group of enemies you have to fight and past them is the teleport to the boss room.
This boss is somewhat tricky. To start with, you have to fight two at the same time. The left one reflects magic attacks, while the right one reflects physical attacks. Also, you have to defeat the right one first, otherwise the left one won't die.
They both attack pretty hard, and the left one has a nasty spell that can lower your level PERMANENTLY. Not by much, but still very nasty. It also has spells that inflict status effects, so you might want to prepare accordingly.
If you get defeated it's Game Over, but if you beat them you get Ending 6.
SIDEQUESTS
There are six sidequests you can get in town. Three main ones and three minor ones. You may need to pass some time before they give you the quests, however. Also, some of the quests can only be gotten either during the morning, or in the afternoon.
MAIN SIDEQUESTS:
-The Godess' Bathtub - There's a nun in one of the rooms in the first floor of the Inn. She only shows up in the morning and if you talk to her, she asks you to escort her to the Godess' Bathtub in the forest. If you accept you enter the forest right away. The Godess' Bathtub is a small room you can get to from the first area of the forest. Go left from the passage to the maze area and you should reach it. There is a wasp mini-boss group there, so be ready. Your reward is the Saint Cross, an acessory which recovers a small percentage of your MP every turn in battle.
-The Crystal Flower - There is a little girl dressed in blue in the village, the one that sings about the way to get through the forest. After some time has passed she will ask you to get a Crystal Flower from the mountain. Go to the mountain, and on the second area (the one with all the slimes), you should see a flower on the cliff face, just out of reach. Examine it and Bassoon will say that he needs a rope to get it. Go to the left and you should see a piece of rope fallen next to a treasure chest. Get it and you'll automatically get the flower. Give the flower to the girl to Receive The Painitar (ペインイーター), an accessory that recovers MP when you receive damage.
-The Phantom Orchard. After some time has passed, if you talk to the bartender at the pub in the afternoon, he will ask you to find the Phantom Orchard in the forest, and he tells you that to get there you have to follow the "dry road". Go to the forest ad proceed to the maze area. Once there, go through the sandy soil exit seven times and you'll reach the Orchard. There is a fight with a bull mini-boss group, so be prepared. Your reward is 8000G and the Behemoth Boots, which are the best boots in the game.
If you do all of the main sidequests you'll get a password at the end of the game.
MINOR SIDEQUESTS
-Dog Whiskers. There is an old man on a small pier in town. Talk to him and he'll ask you to get five Dog Whiskers (犬のひげ). You can get them by defeating wolf enemies in the forest dungeon. Once you have five talk to the old man and he gives you a "Fish Set" (10 fishes, 5 fresh water squid, 5 clams).
-Wild Lillies. Talk to the guard at the town's exit in the afternoon and he'll ask you to get five Wild Lillies (ワイルドリリー). You can get these by defeating goblin enemies in the mountain dungeon (not orcs, goblins, mind you). Once you have five, give them to him and he'll give you a "Vegetable Set" (5 tomatoes, 5 potatoes, 5 onions, 5 lettuces).
-Machine Oil. After some time, the Innkeeper in the first floor of the Inn will ask you for five Machine Oil (機械油). You can get this by defeating robots in the ruins dungeon. Once you get five, give them to him and he'll give you 1200G and a "Bread Set" (5 bread + 5 butter).
All of the minor sidequests can be repeated. Talk to the quest givers again and they should ask you for the items again. The reward is the same each time.
-Hero's Helmet. This isn't quite a sidequest, but if you talk to the old man in the cave in town after a while (possibly after killing a lot of enemies), he gives you the Hero's Helmet(英雄の兜), a very strong helmet that prevents you from being affected by spells that lower your stats.

ENDINGS
There are seven endings in this game. After you complete one of them you go to the Recollection Room, where you can see the Various CGs you've unlocked (see Reccollection Room Section for more info), or start a New Game+ and try for another ending. These are the conditions to do each ending:
Ending 1 - Normal End. Before Curing Clarinet's curse, make five or six different experiments with High purity ingredients OR let 30 days pass. Her Affection can't have been Low at any time.
There are two variations to this ending:
- Ending 1-1 (Normal life) - Clarinetta's Affection must be Neutral when you cure her.
- Ending 1-2 (Sad Farewell) - Clarinetta's Affection must be High when you cure her.
Ending 2 - Bad End (Fugitive). Make Clarinet's Affection be Low and then cure the curse. This is probably the easiest one to do.
Ending 3 - Bad End? (Sex Maniac). This one is time-consuming more than anything.
First of, Clarinetta's Affection towards you can't be Low. Then, raise her Lust a LOT. Don't use the cooldown medicine after sex, and if possible, use the Love Lotion medicine. If you do this, after having sex with her somewhere between 12-15 times go to a dungeon. If her Lust is high enough, it should trigger a cutscene with her spying on Xylophone.
After that cutscene, have sex with Clarinetta 2-3 more times and then during the next day go from your house to the village and you should trigger another cutscene with Xylophone talking to Fagote.
After that other cutscene, have sex wth Clarinetta yet another 2-3 more times and then go to sleep.
If her Lust is high enough, Clarinetta should have a dream where she goes to a dungeon full of sex monsters. Lose the fight at the end of the dream dungeon and then cure the curse.
If you don't feel like going through the dungeon, you should be able to get the ending by curing her right before she has the dream, but you'll miss out on a H-Scene and on Clarinet's ultimate weapon, "Concerto".
Ending 4 - Bad End? (Masochist). This is another easy one. First, Make Clarinetta's Affection Low. Then, raise it back to either Neutral or High, it doesn't matter which one. After that just cure the curse.
Ending 5 - True End (Travellers). This one should be easy, but it took me a while to get it to work. First of, make sure you get her Affection to High before you cure the curse.
Start out by doing six experiments with Low purity ingredients, all with different combinations, then do six experiments with Medium purity ingredients, with six more different combinations. After that, do the combinations you haven't used yet with High purity ingredients. After you've done all combinations, cure her curse and you should get the ending.
Be aware that this ending starts out exactly like Ending 1-2. You'll know you got the right ending if, when Clarinetta is leaving the house, she pauses a bit and says something.
I did one other thing, but I don't know if it affects anything. I did all the experiments on different days, meaning I didn't use the little orb you get on New Game+ that allows you to do multiple experiments per day. I also did it on Easy, but that probably doesn't have anything to do with it.
Ending 6 - Good End (Catching the Criminal). Clarinetta's Affection must be Neutral or High. Cure Clarinetta's curse without using too many different experiment combinations AND do it under 30 days. If you did it right, You'll have to go through an extra dungeon (see the Dungeons section for more information). Beat the boss at the end to get the ending. There are a few variations in dialog depending on Clarinetta's affection, but nothing major.
Ending 7 - Good End (Happy End). This one is similar to Ending 5. Get Clarinetta's Afection to High and then do all of the experiment combinations with High purity ingredients and then cure the curse.
RECOLLECTION ROOM
After you beat the game, you go to the Recollection Room. Here, there are various areas where you can see the CGs you've unlocked and it's also where you're able to do a New Game Plus. The areas are the following:
LOWER LEFT - REWARD ROOM - In here there are three things. On the left are seven chests. Six of them are gray, but depending on the ending you've just done, one of them will be colored. Open that chest to get Ending Proofs, items that prove you've gotten that ending. This also unlocks any CGs from that ending.
In the middle is a shop that sells Alchemy ingredients. This shop opens once you've done the right ending. Ending 6 opens it, possibly Ending 5 as well.
On the right is Clarinetta. If you've met certain conditions during the game, she'll tell you some passwords. Some of those can be used at Bassoon's room, on the table covered in papers, while others are for the next game.
ENDING PROOFS:
- Ending 1 - Blank Notebook (白紙のノート). This is an accessory that increases your Attack, Defense and Spirit by 5.
- Ending 2 - Shacles of Sin (罪の足かせ). This is an accessory that lowers your Attack, Defense, Spirit and Agility by 10.
- Ending 3 - Lust Card (色欲のカード). This is an accessory that increases your Attack and Spirit by 40, but lowers your Defense by 80.
- Ending 4 - Grey Chains (鈍色の拘束鎖). This is an accessory that increases Attack by 5 and Spirit by 15, lowers defense by 30 and Agility by 5, and when you receive dame, restores an amount of MP equal to half of the damage you received.
- Ending 5 - Golden Compass (金色の羅針盤). This is an accessory that restores HP as you walk around, restores a little HP and MP every turn in battle and cuts MP usage in half.
- Ending 6 - Proof of Love (愛のあかし). This is an accessory that raises Attack, Defense, Spirit and Agility by 25. It also increases Fire, Ice, Lightning, Water, Earth, Wind, Light and Dark Resistance by 50%
- Ending 7 - Ocarina's Secret Spellbook (オカリナのひみつ魔法ノート). This is a magic book that when equipped, allows you to use the following spells:
- Crimson Pillar - Strong fire spell. Hits one enemy, may paralyze (35MP)

- Jumping Thunder Spirit - Strong thunder spell. Hits a random number of times (40MP + 40% of Special Bar)
- Great Song - Causes a variety of status effects on all enemies (50MP + 50% of Special Bar)
