GD’s note: I stayed there some years ago and paid 800 euros for a dinner of Foie Gras and a few tiny glasses of champagne. The price isn’t the only thing steep. One cannot get there by car, instead your offered the “privilege” of climbing a steep hill to arrive at the Chèvre D'or (Golden Goat Hotel and Restaurant). Despite all this, I highly recommend it for those who are physically-and financially- fit enough.

This is a sin that cannot be countenanced. We only ask that you help us by suggesting the most painful form of torture we can inflict on this unrepentant director.
