We are located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in the exquisite Pacific Northwest. Mount Hood is to the southeast and Mount Adams is over to the northeast. Mount St. Helens can be seen directly to the north. It is often dark, wet and foggy here on our little patch of land. I think it adds nicely to the ambiance. But the scene here isn't really complete without a new face. Oh, I place plenty of ads out there in the local papers. I try my damndest to get new girls in here. Not just any girls either - I'm looking for amateurs. Nice, pretty girls who've had a lingering desire all their lives to live out a fantasy. Sure, I get lots of responses to those ads. I can't tell you how many pictures I get of all different types of girls - some pretty some not so pretty. Problem is, that's about where the correspondence ends (if I'm lucky). Time after time girls will write to me about how interested they are in coming out to see me. I've heard it so many times now that I don't ever expect the girl to show up until she actually shows up. Funny though, to date, there has not been a single girl who, once they mustered the courage and came out to The Attic, they ALWAYS write back to setup another visit. Sure, it's a little scary coming out here - if we even make it that far. I mean, the drive in from Portland, Seattle and surrounding areas is a nice drive. But then as you head east toward The Attic's location in the foothills things become a bit more remote. Cow pastures, barbed wire fences, hills some people call mountains, Douglas Fir and rural roads - hell, if you are paying attention you might even see a calf being born or a vulture eating a; take your pick. Just last week two bears showed up and tore my nice little bird feeder to pieces.
Peaceful to me, frankly. A bit worrisome to the new girls. After awhile the road gets small. Pretty soon you past by properties where some folks don't give a . Maybe it's a foggy day and you can't even see that they don't give a . I'm sure that has an effect on them. Whenever I go into town and make the drive myself I always smile a little 'cause I know what I'm seeing outside my car window is disturbing to some girls. Don't get me wrong now, we keep a tight ship here. Once you get onto The Attic's property I hear time and again how nice it is. Folks tell me right up front it's like a nice park setting - and it is. Many of the girls like to sit out under the trees at the fire pit and take it all in after a shoot. But getting to it, well, the road just gets smaller and smaller until it isn't even paved anymore. Then the trees get denser and sort of make a tunnel you drive through to get here. Yeah, a little freaky. Once you get in the driveway three large - one weighing in at 200 lbs. - come out to greet you; Cujo style. Stay in the car until I call them off. They keep unwanted visitors at bay. You know, we don't take kindly to unwanted visitors here at The Attic.
