I had a chance to meet Pepper at the recent Adult Expo in Vegas and she’s just as cute, and as nice, as can be! Plus, she hails from my neck of the woods so that’s an additional plus! Pepper XO: I grew up in Milwaukee. In high school, towards the end, I started skipping school a lot. I was becoming bored, I just didn’t feel it anymore. I had a lot of rumors spread around me. It was like Easy A, the movie starring Emma Stone. That was the story of my high school career. There were all these rumors that I was screwing the college guys for money and stuff. Meanwhile, I was a pretty reserved girl and didn’t lose my virginity until I was 16 or 17. (laughs) I was pretty introverted and started skipping school and people assumed I was having sex and doing drugs. In reality, I was at Barnes and Noble reading and writing.

Pepper: A mixture of other girls not liking me and an ex-boyfriend who was upset that I broke up with him. So that was high school. I was pretty happy to graduate. Barely. I’m pretty close to my family and they’re very supportive of me. They’re supportive of my career choices and they had known since I was webcam modeling. I’m very open with them about what I do.
CJ: You lost your virginity at 16, is there a good story behind that?
Pepper: It was kind of weird. We were watching Seven, that movie with Brad Pitt and the chopped off head. I’m not a gory horror fan and this gruesome movie with harrowing imagery but I could tell my boyfriend was getting pressured. He was always very horny and a lot of people were giving him pressure to bang me. I just did it and then his mom walked in on us. Looking back, it’s hilarious but at the time, it was terrible. But at least the pressure was gone. We broke up shortly after because I just didn’t like him.
CJ: Is he the guy who helped spread the rumors about you?
Pepper: Yes. I think he was very upset that we lost our virginity to each other and then a week later, I broke up with him.
CJ: Were you with girls before porn?
Pepper: Yes, actually, I’ve been with mostly women. My first sexual experience was with a girl in 8th grade at art camp. (laughs) It sounds like an intro to a porno itself. We were in bunk beds after a day at the beach and our seat was still sandy and we were complaining about a sandy bed. We went to rinse off in the shower and we kissed. Nothing much happened beyond that but we met up after camp and fooled around for a couple of years. She was my first girlfriend, I guess.
CJ: You said you were mostly with women. Do you like them more or are you totally bisexual?
Pepper: I’m bisexual. I do have a boyfriend. I see myself with a man for the long term but I love women. And growing up, I was more comfortable with women. It took me a while for me to become comfortable with men sexually. CJ: I know there were rumors about you but were you really promiscuous? How many people did you sleep with before porn?
Pepper: (laughs) If I put it out there, people will think I’m bullshitting. I was definitely not promiscuous at all. I probably slept with 10-15 men and I don’t know how many girls. It’s hard to define sex with girls too so I’m not sure.
CJ: How old are you now?
Pepper: I’m 24.
CJ: How long have you been shooting?
Pepper: Since November.
CJ: You’ve been in LA for awhile now?
Pepper: I was out in LA for three years then went back to Milwaukee to live with my mom. I was camming then and I just wasn’t getting the traffic I needed. I was having a hard time with it. I really wanted more of a social environment and I was always curious about porn. I thought it’d be the right opportunity.
CJ: Did you do research or did an agent find you?
Pepper: I started browsing Twitter for agencies and I followed the agencies with the most followers, having no idea which agencies were good or not. I was just aimlessly following agencies and then, practically the same day, my agency, LA Direct, they messaged me and asked if I would be interested in signing. It went from there. I’d say within a couple of weeks, I was flying out to LA to do my first scene.
CJ: So what was your first scene like? You were sexually experienced but it’s different with all these people around watching you. Were you nervous? Intimidated? Turned on?
Pepper: My first work was in Phoenix with FTV Girls. That was really fun. They flew me out there and it was really fun. We ventured around, we went hiking… it’s very candid and very girl next door. CJ: What’s your favorite food?
Pepper: Probably sushi, like everyone else. (laughs) CJ: What’s the kinkiest thing you’ve ever done?
Pepper: I was dating this guy for a few months and we were obsessed with outdoor sex.
