MP Development Update #33 [IMPORTANT]

Midnight Paradise 0.12 is out and I'm pleased with the way it turned out.
Ms Jane's story was fun to make and Melissa's body was nice to work with while doing the animations for her. Of course the last scene with Joyce was something I think many people have been looking forward to.
Now let's talk about 0.13 and the end of 2020.
It's been a long and exhausting year for me, and I'm sure it was for everyone. This year is a mess, as you all know and I don't wanna waste any more words on this.
The point is, I'm tired. I don't think I have it in me to release another big update this year. I've been working on Midnight Paradise non-stop for 2 years now. So here's what I'm going to do:
I'm going to release the 0.13 update in November, which will be a small update - it's going to be an update where we go back and add the things that I always brushed to the side because other scenes were more important to finish.
As you might have seen, 0.12 didn't have the Booty Calls mechanic fleshed out, because I don't want it to be something meh, and to make it good I have to make a lot more animations.
So I'm going to add Booty Calls with multiple characters, so you'll have plenty of erotic content considering the size of the update.
I'm also going to finally get to more optional conversations with the characters.
Then, I wanna flesh out Connor and Logan's rivalry a bit more.
There is also some optimization to be done - mainly I've heard complaints that the more advanced erotic content comes too late in the game. I've designed the Ms Jane storyline with this in mind, meaning her content will be available much earlier in the game. This of course won't really affect if you've already played through the game, but it's important when looking at the final product. I'll also make more of the more advanced sexual content in a similar fashion, so the early game is filled with hotter encounters and to reflect Connor's womanizing nature.
I'm also thinking about a 'dressing room' kind of thing, where you get to see the girls try on their different outfits for Connor. Let me know what you think about it down below in the comments or on Discord.
And after 0.13 - I'm taking a break.
It probably won't be the kind of break you're thinking about, though.
I will be working still, but I'm taking a break from Midnight Paradise for a little while. In December, it's been a custom that a lot of the devs take a little break after a year of hard work. Which is understandable. I'm not going to release a new update in December.
I'll still release some Holiday themed renders like last year though.
There are things I've been meaning to work on in 2020, but I realized I just cannot do these things AND work on Midnight Paradise at the same time. So, I'm going to we working on something else in December - and I think you'll really like it.
You'll know what it is on March 12, 2021.
(I'm sure I'll have teaser about it before that)
Now, don't panic. I'm not abandoning MP and I'm not starting a new project.
There's just something I need to do before I can start working on MP again, and to be fair I think the break from MP will be greatly beneficial.
During this time I'll also be looking into some ways of providing more benefits to you guys who keep supporting this endeavor.
If all goes well, I'll be back working on MP sometime in January, maybe February.
